Status of The Wrecking Ball EP

Hello there Robots and Gentlemen,
I just wanted to say hello and give you all an update of what’s going on in GAR world. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been working hard on our new EP and often get stuck in my own music world (comes with being a Pisces I guess). I was hoping to have the EP done this month but unfortunately it will have to be pushed back. One of my hard-drives failed and with it I lost very vital files for a few of the songs. After tearing my hair out and uttering every expletive in existence, I’ve started to rerecord these lost files. Thats what I get for not remembering to back everything up regularly. Lesson learned. I’m aching to give you all an official release date but I can’t be absolutely certain at this point. The last thing I want to do is to have to push the release date back again. It will be soon. I promise!
Another important note I should make is in regards to the current members of GAR. As you all know, the creative aspect of GAR has been mainly a collaboration between Kyle and I. However, this upcoming EP was done entirely by myself. Kyle has been taking some time off to focus on other commitments that currently require his full attention. This doesn’t mean the collaborative relationship has ended by any means. All it means is that for right now GAR will be a one-man operation. The thought process was that we want to bring you new material as soon as possible rather than waiting an indefinite amount of time to get things sorted out.
I’m super excited about these new songs. They are more “in-your-face” and danceable than our prior music. GAR has really started to find its sound. Stay tuned.
